The Caribbean Institute of Certified Management Consultants (CICMC) is a network of individual management consultants and Interim Chapters which stretches from the Bahamas to Trinidad and Tobago and includes the South American Territories of Guyana and Suriname.

Our Mission is “To be a professional organization that aggressively mobilizes its membership and enhances their ability to service clients according to global standards of ethical behavior and excellence.”

The CICMC was inaugurated in 2007. It became a full member of the International Council of Management Consultants Institutes (ICMCI) in 2010.

There was an acute need for such a body – one that would set and maintain rigorous standards for management consultants, provide ongoing opportunities for professional development for members, increase networking opportunities and improve business conditions in the field.

We are committed to the ongoing professional development of our members and provide events such as workshops and seminars, as well as online courses, boot camp style training and mentorship.

There are various categories of members. The CICMC offers certified, professional, associate, student and corporate membership, each with separate requirements.

Membership is open to an individual who; practices as a management consultant or has an interest in advancing the field of management consulting; acknowledges and agrees to abide by the Uniform Code of Professional Conduct; and possesses a minimum undergraduate degree or equivalent (CA, CGA, CMA, P.Eng).

Benefits of membership in the CICMC include; unparalleled networking opportunities, the ability to earn the Certified Management Consultant (CMC) designation, discounted fees for CICMC events and professional development training opportunities.

Membership fees are US$350 per year.

No. An individual must become a member of the CICMC in order to obtain CMC certification.
